A new innovation comes from Japan. One of women?s favorite jobs will represent by a robot. Guess what? Yes, it is shopping at mall.

Well at least that?s what the robot?s developer say, tmsuk. Using cell phone technology (NTT DoCoMo), TMSUK-4 can represent peoples who want to shop at mall but have some obstacles.

In their demo, in Izutuya department store Kitakyushu branch. TMSUK-4 represent an old woman wants to go shop with her grand daughter but she?s ill at the time. Then that grandma use NTT DoCoMo cell phone which has video feature to remote a robot. Together with his ?grandma?, the grand daughter come to a hat store, watching for a while and chooses to buy a hat.

Tmsuk sure that their ?3D Communications? technologies will bring us closer to a new world where shopping robots will full fill the malls everywhere. Wait is it just my feeling or sounds weird where the robots can take over the world, just like Terminator or i-Robot the movie (scary situation SET MODE:ON).
